Our Long-term Vision/Goal
Whispering Pines Farm Experiences is a family-centered educational micro-farm in Oregon designed to provide calm, safe, and nature-based learning experiences for children and families. The project focuses on small, appointment-only farm visits that include gentle animal interaction, garden exploration, and outdoor educational activities that support youth development, mental wellness, and agricultural awareness.
Unlike large agritourism operations, this farm-first model prioritizes safety, inclusivity, and emotional well-being through a low-stress, family-operated structure involving three adults and young children in supervised farm responsibilities. The project will serve families, homeschool groups, and community members seeking accessible outdoor learning opportunities.
By promoting agricultural literacy, sustainability, and nature connection, Whispering Pines aligns strongly with community-focused grant priorities related to youth education, wellness, and small-scale agriculture. Grant funding will support safe startup infrastructure, educational materials, and animal care resources, enabling a responsible, debt-free launch that maximizes long-term community impact.
Meet Our Family and Join Our Vision
Whispering Pines Farm Experiences, a small family-supported farm model focused on responsible land stewardship and low-impact livestock care.
My family and I are seeking 5–10 acres to lease long-term (2–3 years minimum) to establish a small rotational grazing setup with a limited number of goats and laying hens. Our approach prioritizes soil health, conservative stocking, and respectful land management.
We are not looking for large-scale commercial activity. Our goal is steady, responsible agricultural use with long-term compatibility.
We are open to flexible arrangements and would be happy to share our farm plan and references.
